So I've delayed writing for so long. Mostly because a blank screen seemed too overwhelming to fill. But alas, frustrated with my own inadequacy, I am now determined to post something. I'm going to stop thinking and just write.
It's hard to believe that my first semester of college is now long over and I'm well into the first couple weeks of my winter break. It's crazy how fast everything flew by. It seems as a whirlwind of events as I try to picture everything now. So rapidly did I have to live in a place other than home, forge new friendships, and get acclimated to what is known as "college life". Perhaps through writing I'll be able to better learn about myself and the journey that lies ahead. If anyone benefits from reading this, probably through relating to my experiences, then I'll be glad. However, this is an incohesive rambling of thoughts and ideas running through my head with the purpose of reflecting on my experiences that may help contribute to my personal growth and development as a Muslim girl dorming in college.
